My aim for 2026 is to water the plants consistently and well, and I am going to grow vegetables, herbs and a lot more flowers in my garden and have sown some seeds to start.
New plants that I am going to try to grow is a melon, called Emir, which is especially bred for the UK climate. I will make better use of my greenhouse and use a large tomato bag and a trellis (each) for them to grow up.
In the autumn of 2025, I asked Shahin to create a spring bulb garden, which consisted of Daffodils and Tulips of several varieties – see the image below.
